Stop Number Three

Head back down Little Bourke Street and make a left onto Exhibition Street. Once you’ve passed The European Beer Cafe make a right onto Little Collins Street. Make sure to come back at another time for some great food and drinks on their rooftop bar!

Keep heading down Little Collins Street, and The Crafty Squire will be right ahead after you cross Russell Street. Head on upstairs and let them know you are here!

Here you will receive a delicious share platter, some Crocodile delights and some local Aussie Brew!

The Crafty Squire is home of the famous James Squire Brewhouse, the only working microbrewery in Melbourne’s CBD! James Squire is credited with the first successful cultivation of hops in Australia around the start of the 19th century. First officially brewing beer in Australia in 1790 and later James founded Australia's first commercial brewery making beer using barley and hops.

Game: Two Truths and a Lie

One person makes three statements, two true and one false, and the other person have to guess the false one. This is especially challenging if you know each other well!

The microbrewing movement began in the United Kingdom in the 1970s although traditional artisanal brewing existed in Europe for centuries and subsequently spread to other countries. As the movement grew and some breweries expanded their production and distribution, the more encompassing concept of craft brewing emerged!
