Gift Card delivery

Whenever you choose! We’ll always send you a confirmation email shortly after your order is placed, with the gift card attached as a PDF. You can also choose to have the gift card sent directly to your recipient on the date you select, or have it included in a posted gift or greeting card.

You sure can! When customising your gift card, you’ll be able to have it delivered straight to your recipient by email. You can send it right away or schedule it for a future date of your choice. If you’d prefer something more tangible, you can also include it in a posted gift or greeting card.

When your gift card is sent depends on the delivery method you choose.

For digital delivery, you can choose to send it right away or schedule it for later. If you send it now, the gift card will arrive with your recipient at the same time we send your confirmation email. If you schedule delivery, it will be sent bright and early, before 9 am in the recipient’s time zone on your chosen date.

For greeting card delivery, any card ordered before 10 am Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) is printed and posted the same day. Once in the post, delivery times vary depending on the destination. Estimated times are 2 to 5 business days for the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, 3 to 5 business days within Australia, and 7 to 12 business days for New Zealand. Please note these deliveries are untracked.

For physical hampers and gifts within Australia, items are shipped via Express Post or next-day delivery, depending on your location and hamper partner. Tracking details will be provided.

Yes! You can choose to have your gift card printed inside a greeting card or included with a gift hamper. Greeting cards are available in Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States, and New Zealand. Gift hampers are currently only available in Australia.

Gifting

On our gift card page, you can choose to give either a specific experience or a monetary value. For example, you might gift a Mystery Picnic Date with Wine for 2 people, or simply load a dollar amount for your recipient to spend however they like.

You can also browse the experiences available in your recipient’s location and, when you find one you love, select Give as a Gift directly from the experience page.

Please note: experience prices are subject to change. If the cost increases, your recipient may need to pay the difference when redeeming their gift.

Yes, absolutely! Even if you’ve chosen a specific experience, your recipient can use the value of the gift card to book any other experience they prefer when redeeming it.

Not at all! You can choose a specific destination to tailor the gift to your recipient, or simply give one of our experience gift cards and let them pick the destination themselves. Just keep in mind that you’ll need to purchase the experience from your recipient’s home country page.

The easiest way to gift for a large group is directly from the experience page. Simply browse the available experiences in your recipients’ city and, when you find one you’d like to give, select Give as a Gift. From there you can add the number of adults and children, include any add-ons, and customise the gift card with your preferred design, message, and delivery option, all in one place.

If you’d like to tailor each gift card with a different message, the best way is to purchase them one by one using any of the options above.

If you’re looking to buy up to 10 gift cards, you can use our multi-buy option for multiples of some of our most popular experiences, or choose bundle & save to mix and match different types of experiences.

For more than 10 gift cards, if you’re happy to have the same message on each, simply contact our team to request a bulk order.

All our gift cards come with a 3-year validity from the purchase date. Plenty of time for your recipient to find an experience they’ll love!

Redeeming your Gift Card

Simply find your perfect experience online, during checkout you'll have the option to add a Gift or Coupon code. Enter your unique code in this field to redeem the value of your gift.

Yes! If the recipient of your gift card has a redeemable discount code at the time of redeeming their gift card they can use both the gift card and the code at checkout. However, gift cards can not be used in conjunction with referral codes at this stage.

If the experience you picked costs more than your gift card amount, you can simply pay the remaining balance using a credit card or PayPal. If you picked an experience that costs less than your gift card value, we’ll store the amount for you for future use! Or, you can always see if there are any add ons that tickles your fancy - perhaps you can add a bottle of wine to enjoy?

Not at the moment. Gift cards can’t be reloaded, but you can still use yours as part of a mixed payment and simply top up the difference with a credit card or PayPal.

Our premium option is upgraded to include a bonus stop with an extra item to collect, as well as drinks and a specialty snack to enjoy along the way! The item and snack vary between routes but could be something like a gelato stop, and some pastries to enjoy along the way.

Absolutely! Recipients can select from our available dietary options, vegan, vegetarian or gluten-free, when booking their experience. For larger groups and families, it’s also possible to specify dietary needs for individual attendees (for example, if only one or two guests are vegan).

Yes! Some of our picnic locations and routes are dog friendly. Please check the booking page for your chosen location to see if the specific route allows dogs.
