Job Description

Working directly with the founder and senior leadership team you will take responsibility over the full finance function across Australia, USA and future countries.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Working with the Founders and Senior Management team to drive profit, increase margin and optimise unit economics;

  • Managing relationships with our outsourced tax and legal services teams in AU and USA;

  • Overseeing the AP and AR process;

  • Running the forecasting and budgeting process;

  • Upgrading our SaaS platforms as business needs evolve;

  • Communicating with our investors;

  • Assist with pieces of our legal and compliance puzzle (we’re a startup and need people who can domain switch with confidence)


About You, Personally:

  • Above all else, you’ll be excited about helping our customers spend their time better through real world experiences - you have to be onboard with our mission

  • Ability to have fun and contribute to a vibrant working environment (get involved in our team nights and quarterly team building activities - these are so much fun!)

  • Not afraid to step out of your comfort zone and try some new stuff. A ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to take on something new is critical.

  • A++ teamwork and communication skills

  • Love the high growth, fast paced startup culture. Break stuff and learn fast - own it


About You, Technically:

  • CA / CPA qualified;

  • Commercial and operational - your recommendations will be listened to;

  • Ability to learn… fast. We’re pushing into new geographies constantly so our financial complexity increases constantly. You need to be eager to learn about new jurisdictions;

  • You need to be rock solid on finance and accounting practices;

  • We’ll be looking for relevant experience, ideally in a high growth, multi country environment but honestly, we’re more excited by drive and ability to learn over past experience.
