This unique adventure combines our beloved Family Mystery Picnic with an unforgettable trip to Bluey's World Brisbane.
Start your adventure inside the Bluey universe at Bluey’s World Brisbane, where imagination and play come to life. Then, hop on the Bluey and Bingo-themed CityCat or drive to New Farm Park to begin your Bluey-themed Mystery Picnic!
In New Farm, everything is within easy walking distance. You’ll follow Bluey-inspired clues and riddles on your smartphone, uncovering hidden stops along the way. At each stop, you’ll collect delicious family picnic treats from local boutique vendors. Each clue brings you closer to your perfect picnic spot in New Farm Park - where, fun fact, the Heelers enjoy a picnic in the *Spy Game* episode! Be sure to watch this episode beforehand so you can recognise scenes and moments from the show, making your day even more magical.

We recommend allowing around 5 hours, including enjoying your visit to Bluey’s World Brisbane and your Mystery Picnic. You can certainly take longer if you visit the additional optional stops.
Either drive or catch the CityCat for 0.50c pp between Bluey’s World Brisbane in Hamilton and your picnic in New Farm Park once you arrive in New Farm the experience is walkable.

What kind of food will we pick up on our journey?
We won’t give away too much here, it is part of the mystery after all! But you can safely expect gourmet foods from local artisan producers, including your traditional picnic foods such as cheese, meats, fruits and crackers. Naturally, as artisan producers are unique to the different destinations, the final picnic content varies slightly between them.
Can you accommodate dietary requirements?
Absolutely! We can cater for most dietary needs at no extra cost, including gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options. You can also let us know about any allergies when booking. We do our best to accommodate pregnancy requests and recommend pescatarians book as vegetarians.
Please note, some dietary options may not be available on all routes. This will be clearly shown when booking.
Do I need to pay for food on the day?
All food is covered in the cost of your experience.
When will I get my clues?
We’ll email your clues a day or two before your picnic. Inside, you’ll find everything you need, including fun puzzles, games and hints to lead you to each stop. Please note, you'll need a mobile phone with internet access on the day of your experience.
What ages are children?
We recommend booking a Family Mystery Picnic for children between the ages of 3-10 years. Children under three are welcome to come along free of charge. For children over 10, book them as adults to make sure everyone has enough food.
Where do I eat my picnic?
We will always have a picnic spot planned for you, be that a picnic area, a park or even a winery. Please note that picnic set up is not included, so you are welcome to find a spot and settle in to eat. We also recommend bringing along a picnic blanket if you have one, in case you decide to settle on the grass.
What does 'ends undercover' mean?
Your picnic ends in an area that includes some covered spots for shade or rain. These areas are not reserved, so they’re available on a first come, first served basis.
What does 'ends indoors' mean?
Indoor locations are at one of our local providers. We do our best to secure you a spot, but it is on a first come, first served basis.
What time will my experience start?
Most Mystery Picnics begin between 10am and 12pm, although this can vary depending on your chosen route. Your exact start time will be listed in your confirmation email once you’ve booked.
While most routes are flexible, some may include stops that require you to arrive by a specific time. We’ll always let you know if timing is important for your route within your clues, otherwise you can take the day at your own pace and enjoy exploring along the way.
How long does the experience go for?
Duration can vary, but most Mystery Picnics are designed to be a 3-4 hour round trip, including enjoying your picnic. You can definitely take longer if you want to go on a few detours to explore the region a bit more.

If I purchase a Mystery Picnic as a gift card, how long is it valid for?
If you purchase any Mystery Picnic as a gift card, it will be valid for 3 years, so your recipient has plenty of time to book their experience.
What is your wet weather policy?
Some of our destinations offer an indoor picnic spot, just ask one of our friendly concierges. If you'd prefer to reschedule your picnic due to rain, we need 3 business days notice, so we encourage you to keep an eye on the forecast in rainier seasons.
Is parking included?
Parking costs are not included in the price of the experience.
Is transport included?
Transport throughout the experience is not included, so be sure to check whether your experience is designed for walking or driving.
Do I need to know the area well to solve the clues?
No local knowledge is required to solve the clues on the day. Whether you know the region well or it's your first visit, the experience is designed to guide you to discover new things during your visit.
