The perfect way to explore the stunning area around our hotel! Solve clues and riddles that uncover a path to local hidden gems and well-known attractions. Exclusive to hotel guests, this self-guided tour starts in the lobby and will have you acquainted with nearby hotspots before venturing out to must see destinations. Designed to orient you with your new surroundings, you’ll discover the best the area has to offer while enjoying your morning coffee, a picnic lunch, something sweet and a drink to finish. Allow 3 hours to complete the experience, or enjoy optional extras along the way to make it a full day experience.
The day before your experience, you'll be sent a special link which will guide you through your day. We recommend starting the day between 9am - 10am in the hotel lobby. Across the course of the day, you'll unlock destinations by solving clues and riddles. Some stops could include architectural highlights, places of historical or cultural importance, major thoroughfares or walking areas, scenic overlooks, and a number of food and drinks stops where you'll enjoy pre-paid items we've carefully selected for you along with a perfect picnic spot to enjoy your goodies. Along the way, we'll also recommend places you can spend more time exploring or to come back to later, such as dining hotspots, optional museums and recreation areas.

What kind of food can we expect?

Can you accommodate for dietary requirements?
Absolutely! We can cater for dietary requirements such as Vegetarian, Vegan and Gluten Free, which can be selected at the time of booking. If you have specific allergies, let us know in the ‘additional options’ section what your preferred dietary requirements are. We can cater for as many people as you like, free of charge.
Do I need to pay for food on the day?
No you don't. All food and drinks are included. However, there will be optional activities that we point out along the way where some of them (e.g. museums) would require payment.
When will I get my clues/instructions?
You'll be sent a special link the day before to access the self guided experience on your phone. Across the day you'll solve clues and riddles (with an option to skip the riddles if you want to) and unlock different locations.
What will the day look like?
You can decide your specific start time and the pace for the day! We recommend getting started between 9am and 10am in the hotel lobby to give yourself enough time without feeling like you have to rush through the day.
You can expect to visit architectural highlights, places of historical or cultural importance, scenic overlooks, unique street art or statues, and hidden gem shops to browse, to name a few!
How long does the experience go for?
The experience is designed to be comfortably completed in around 3 hours, but most people will take 5-8 hours as they choose to do the optional extra activities and walks.
What is your rescheduling and cancellation policy?
As we pre-plan and book you in for your stops along the way, we need 3 days notice if you wish to reschedule or cancel your experience.
What is your wet weather policy?
The experience can still be complete in rain or wet weather in some of our destinations, just ask one of our friendly concierges. But if you'd prefer to reschedule your picnic due to rain we'll need 3 days notice, so we encourage you to keep an eye on the forecast in rainier seasons.
